Eric  acts of Counsel to BRANDED! He joined the profession in 1969 and qualified in 1972.  He is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney holding a Higher Courts Certificate as a litigator with many years as a professional representative before the EU IPO.  Eric who is very experienced in all aspects of securing, enforcing and defending domain names, as well as trade marks, and design rights was invited to join the Policy Advisory Board of Nominet UK (the registry of .uk domain names) when it was set up in 1999 and was its Chair between 2006 and 2010. 

He is a former Chair of the Joint Examining Board for entry onto the registers of patent attorneys and trade mark attorneys, and was a lecturer and tutor on the Nottingham Law School Professional Certificate in Trade Mark Practice for several years.  Eric is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys, and has acted for many high profile clients and took a number of cases on appeal to the Court of Justice of the European Union.  For many years before joining BRANDED! he headed up the highly regarded practice of Alexander Ramage Associates LLP.
